EUDXF supports the VU4W DXpedition to Andaman Islands

The EUDXF is happy to announce their support to the May 2022 DXpedition to Andaman Islands, VU4W. A team consisting of wellknown DXpeditioner Yuris/YL2GM with local support from Manoj/VU2CPL and Deepak/VU2CDP plan to be on the air from Andaman Islands, VU4W from May 3 to 16, 2022. EUDXF supports the MDXC DXpedition to Djibouti

The EUDXF board decided in favor of supporting the upcoming DXpedition by the MDXC to Djibouti J28MD. After two years of forced stop, the Mediterraneo Dx Club (MDXC) will be soon on air again with a new challenge. From 29th of October till the 7th of November 2022, a very skilled international team (IZ8CCW-IZ4UEZ-IZ3GNG-IZ2GNQ-YO8WW-AG4W-IK4QJF-DJ5IW-DL6LZM-DL8JJ-KO8SCA-DL8OBF-NG7M-IU8LMC) will be active from Djibouti as J28MD, with special focus on low bands and WARC. EUDXF Board Member DF3EC visits HamCation in the USA

EUDXF board member Achim DF3EC visited HamCation in Orlando, Florida this February. HamCation hosted the 2022 ARRL National Convention under the theme of “reDiscover Radio” as one of the largest annually held gatherings of radio amateurs in the US. The last convention in 2020 attracted 24,200 visitors over all three days. This year hams from US, Canada but also from Europe were attracted by lectures, forums, meetings and a wide range of vendors, clubs as well as a huge fleamarket under Florida’s sun. EUDXF supports the Z21A and Z22O DXpedition to Zimbabwe

EUDXF Members DL7BO and DJ6TF are currently active as Z22O and Z21A from Zimbabwe. They will be active until 20 February 2022 from Harare, Zimbabwe. They operate on 160 – 10m, CW, SSB, FT8, FT4. They use ICOM IC – 7300 transceivers and 1kw amplifier. 18m GP for the Low Bands. QSL via DJ6TF  and logs will also go to LOTW.

Over the years the EUDXF supported many DXpeditions by Cezar, VE3LYC and many of us have one or more QSL cards in their collection from his travels to exoctic island destinations.
