As you may remember, the EUDXF supported VP2EKG Keith with money to buy a generator after Hurricane Irma destroyed everything. He has bought the generator and now has electricity for light, cooking and – very important – to use his water pump again. EUDXF supports 2018 DXpedition to Ducie Island – VP6D

The EUDXF Board is happy to share their decision to support the October – November 2018 DXpedition to VP6D – Ducie Island. Ducie is an uninhabited Pacific island located in the Gambier Island Group, approximately 540 kilometers east of Pitcairn Island and 6,000 kilometers southeast of Hawaii. It is almost 10 years since the last Ducie Island DX-pedition and currently it is #27 on the ClubLog’s Most Wanted List. There is no scheduled air or sea transportation to the island. EUDXF welcomes Claude ON7TK as a new member

Hello, I’m married with Carine ON7LX and we have two lovely children, Aimé (1981) and Eline (1985). We are living in a old farm since more than 25 years. I’m interested in ham radio since I was a little boy. In 1979 I took part to the ham examinations and I became ON1AXQ. A few months later I passed the Morse code examination and ON7TK was on the air.
