EUDXF supports the 2020 South Orkney Islands DXPedition

The EUDXF is happy to announce they will support the new adventure by the Perseverance DX Group to South Orkney Island scheduled for February – March 2020. The Clublog Most Wanted ranking for VP8O South Orkney based on Europe is #16 mixed mode.  The team will be QRV from Signy Island on 10-160 meters, SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8. Located at 60 degrees south / 45 degrees west, we expect temperatures to hover around freezing most of the time, with constantly changing conditions of wind, rain, snow and occasional sunshine. EUDXF supports the A35JT DXPedition to Tonga

The EUDXF board decided to support the A35JT DXpedition to Tonga in september/october 2019. Grant VK5GS, Oly VK5XDX, Steve VK5SFA and Andrew VK5AKH will arrive in Tonga on Monday 23rd Sept 2019 and should be on air by the 24th. They will be departing Monday October 7th (on air up to 0800 on the 6th at the end of the OCDX SSB contest). HAM RADIO has been traditionally a meeting point for many interested in DXing from all over the world. This is true for those activating rare entities or islands as well as the DXers chasing them.
