It is our pleasure to advise that the EUDXF supports the TX5EU DXpedition to Austral Island.
The team plans to be active between 13th and 25th of March 2026 from Raivavae Island IOTA OC-114.
The team consists of 6 experienced operators:
- DL2AWG Günter Team-Leader SSB + Digi
- DK2AMM Ernö Team-member CW + Digi
- DL2AMD Rainer Team-member SSB + Digi
- PA2KW Evert Equipment Mixed mode
- PA3EWP Ronald Public Relations Mixed mode
- PG5M Gerben Antennas CW + Digi
The team plans to be active around the clock with 3 stations, all Elecraft K3S with Expert SPE 1.3K amplifiers.
The following antennas will be directly on the beach:
- 10m VDA
- 12m VDA
- 15m VDA
- 17m VDA
- 20m VDA
- 30m VDA
- 40m Vertical
- 10-40m DX-Commander
- 80m Vertical
The team will not operate 160m this time because of the limited space to setup antennas. Their focus is on the higher bands.
