Between 17 and 30 November 2013 Chris F4WBN, Jan DJ8NK and Paul F6EXV will operate from just outside Abidjan as TU5AX, TU5NK and TU5XV. This activity will assist the revival of TU2CI, the radio club of Ivory Coast that was totally destroyed during the civil war in 2010. The team plans to donate radio equipment and antennas to the club and they will assist the club with the installation and train the club members to use the equipment. Following letter addressing the DXCC status for Kosovo was sent to the DX Advisory Committee.

A multinational group of Dietmar, DL3DXX; Wayne, N7NG; Hans, PB2T; Olli, OH0XX; Martti, OH2BH; Pertti, OH2PM and Veijo, OH6KN and Tevfik, TA1HZ (team doctor) will be in Juba, South Sudan from November 14 to 28, 2013 and will activate Z81X with an emphasis on low bands, 160m and 80m. The period includes the CQWW CW contest with some single-band entries and low-band SSB focus during the contest weekend. While the AGM took place in Bad-Bentheim your President met with two of our four Japanese Life members at the Tokyo Hamfair. Our newest Life Member Martti OH2BH was also spotted at the Hamfair. Martti is in the Yaesu stand handing out memorial cards in honor to his farewell for DXpeditioning after 50-years of service. I can’t believe this is his last farewell. Martti we are proud to have you as EUDXF Life Member.
