The European DX Foundation had its Annual General Meeting during the Deutsch-Niederländische Amateurfunker Tage (DNAT) in Bad Bentheim this weekend. Here you see EUDXF President Dominik DL5EBE with the new EUDXF flag available for EUDXF supported DXpeditions as presented during the AGM.
It started all very early. Born in 1964, my interest in the magic of radio waves started around the age of 10. In 1979, at the age of 15, I joined the Dutch Amateur Radio organization VERON, obtained an SWL number and passed my novice exam the same year. This was the start of a very exiting hobby. Shortwave and DX attracted me from day one. Upgraded to HF/CW shortly after, and obtained the call sign PA3DSR. My mentor was Albert, PA0ABE. I remember visiting his station very well. The European DX Foundation likes to remind all members about the Annual General Meeting to be held in Bad Bentheim during the Deutsch-Niederländische Amateurfunker Tage (DNAT) this coming weekend. The meeting will take place on Saturday 26th August and will start at 14:00 local time in Gaststätte Berkemeyer Gildehauser Straße 18, 48455 Bad Bentheim, Germany.
