The Special Event Station TM33EUDX went QRT yesterday. Unfortunately the license only had a limited time so they could not be there for the full month. With 7634 qso’s the TM33EUDX gang did a very nice job creating activity from France during the 2019 EUDXF Activity Month celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the EUropean DX Foundation. Whilst checking the applications for the 33 EUDXF Award it was noticed a number of applicants applied the rules of the 32 EUDXF Award. I am Dervin PD9DX,one off the operators off the PI33EUDXF activity, with this ses event callsign we have nice pile-ups,and there are always stations in the pile up that you never forget,stations from a rare DX,or small Islands,Martime Mobile stations somewhere in the pacific etc, but the station that whas calling me last week,whas also verry interesting,it whas K3BOC / Bicycle mobile,amazing signal from his bike ! Now, on day 12 of the EUDXF Activity Month, the number of award applications exceed the situation of last year. The activity on the bands by the various Special 33 EUDXF stations apparantly helps a lot to get the required QSO’s logged for the award. I have to emphasize that this years 33 EUDXF Award rules differ from the rules of previous years. So please check out your application complies to this year requirements to avoid “problems”.
