Day 6 of the 2025 EUDXF Activity Month is a good moment to do a first wrap-up over what is going on:
- All 39EUDXF stations have started their activity.
Some started a few days later due to license issues but all solved now. - Estimated QSO’s in the log sofar is 10.000 qso’s.
We all know that with the advent of FT* modes, no comparison can be made to the past, but this number is above all previous editions. - There is some discussion about the 39EUDXF award rules.
The rules as such are similar to previous years.
The reason there are multiple classes is to build in a serious degree of difficulty for the award hunters.
Yes, Platinum will not be easy, and it wasn’t in previous editions either, yet there were always a few stations that deserved it. Some 39EUDXF stations have a strong preference for a specific mode, which may be FT8, but certainly also applies to SSB and CW. This also requires some creativity and dedication from the hunters.
If, during the course of the activity month, there is reason to lower the award requirements based on the activity, we will certainly do so, but Gold and Platinum will always remain a challenge. - Online logs are available on Clublog and QRZ.COM as soon as the logs are available.
Clublog includes the OQRS option for requesting QSL cards for the QSO’s made. - QRZ.COM pages are there for all 39EUDXF stations.
- To support the 39EUDXF award hunters a DXcluster widget is added to the EUDXF Mainpage.
EUDXF Members are still encouraged to join the 39EUDXF Activity Month with a special 39EUDXF callsign. Please contact Alex PA1AW for details.
